Creative, Able, and Committed

That’s why 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NKJV) is paramount in the life of a Christian:  Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.  The battle really is in the mind.  If the enemy can reach you there, he doesn’t need to do anything more.  He’s won.  Defeated thinking leads to a defeated, unproductive life.

So, how do you commit your works to God?  Be intentional.  Place God at the top of your priority list each day.  Do you thank Him for waking you up?  Do you ask for His direction each day at your place of employment?  Did you ask Him what route you should take on the road or what you should buy at the grocery store?  Did you seek His approval for that special someone?  Seek Him in everything.  Place everything before Him for His seal of approval.  Then, you’ll proceed confidently, knowing His response is, “Well done.”  A peaceful mind is productive because it has focus.  A restless mind is counterproductive; there’s too much clutter in there to accomplish anything.

And, Sisters, when your thoughts are established, you can claim Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV):

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Commit your works to God and watch what happens!  You are in position for God to blow your mind!
