Have you ever been there? Day one sometimes seems impossible, doesn’t it? On day one at the cross, Jesus was experiencing unimaginable pain, heartache, rejection—all of it. It was excruciating on Friday. And the whole earth reacted to Jesus’s death. There was darkness all over the land. The situation seemed completely hopeless.
Your situation may seem hopeless, too, right now. Again, notice I used the word seem. Just hold on, Sisters, you’re almost there. Because just one chapter later…
But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. (Matthew 28:5-6a NKJV)
Sisters, Jesus rose from that grave! Jesus did exactly what He said He would do, and when He rose, we rose. Your situation will get better if you just trust and believe in the promises of God, and do whatever He instructed you to do. Have you asked Him for direction, support, forgiveness, provision, and wisdom? Open you mouth and ask Jesus for what you really need. Do it right now!
And just hold on, Sisters, don’t give up! It may be Friday, but your Sunday is on the way!
