About the Chef

I am certain that I was born to solve a specific problem, so I asked God why I’m here.  The answered amazed me: I am here on this planet to combat spiritual burnout among God’s anointed.

A native of Cincinnati, OH, I accepted Jesus Christ at a young age.  My life has been full of ups and downs, but one thing has remained clear: I am a beloved daughter of the Most High God, and I choose to accept the call He has placed upon my life, to be a vessel through which God speaks to His people and an instrument for His use.

Manna began with me emailing close friends when God deposited a Word into my spirit.  Then it transitioned to a monthly conference call, a mobile Bible study.  The Manna Sisters were extremely encouraging, and they began to share the messages with others.  And then God gave me the desire to give more of His daughters access to these meals for the soul.

God has been preparing these meals for me on a pretty consistent basis for years.  It’s the result of study and my walk with God.  I have been able to share meals from the pulpit, in women’s conferences, at seminars and workshops, and occasionally in classrooms.  But when He revealed that He wanted me to begin what is now known as “The Manna Chef,” I didn’t exactly leap at the thought.  I truly love the Word, but I could not fathom the idea of presenting it in this way. 

My heart’s desire is to encourage the people of God to:

  1. Have a thirst for God and His Word.
  2. Think bigger. Much bigger.
  3. Live like we were designed to live, in abundance, while standing firmly on the promises of God.

My life’s verse and my mission: Jeremiah 1:5-9

My purpose:

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.”

The bottom line is that I want to encourage people to know, believe, and do what God says.

Sisters, welcome to Manna.  God amazes me every time He speaks to or feeds us.  I will share the meals as I get them, trusting that He knows when to serve each dish according to His timing.  I can’t wait to see what God will prepare for us next!
