It’s time to slow down and really tune in to what God is saying concerning His people. You are not missing out on anything, Sisters, when you slow down. When you decide to stop moving at a feverish pace and actually be still, you can hear that still, small voice that is trying to lead you each day.
Slow down. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath? … Can you hear it?
And if you have found yourself to be so busy that you are not sure if you are missing out on what God is trying to show you each day, I encourage you to recite this prayer:
Father God,
Please forgive me for the many times I have gone through the day without noticing the people who really need my attention. Help me keep my focus on You and teach me how to move according to Your Word. Father, show me how to align my agenda to Your will, so that I may be sensitive to Your Spirit when You are leading me to show compassion to Your people. I submit my will, my agenda, and my plans to You right now, and humbly ask for Your forgiveness. I choose Your will and Your way, Lord, and I ask for wisdom today. It’s in the matchless name of Jesus Christ that I pray. Amen.
