If you approach the challenges that come your way, knowing that God will add His Super to your natural, you can achieve far beyond what you could have ever imagined. And Jesus said, “Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.” You have been created to produce much fruit. It’s in the fiber of your being, but the key to producing fruit is staying connected to the Vine, Jesus Christ. We have to remain in Him.
When you are connected to Him, you can be ready in season and out of season (2 Timothy 4:2). And you can walk in total confidence toward what God has said because you know that He has ordered your steps. Now let me be clear though, if there are steps you need to take to prepare yourself for the destiny that lies ahead, please do the work necessary to accompany your faith (James 2:17). But in all of your work, you still need to be connected to the Vine. Jesus Christ is your Source. He provides what you need. When you are connected to Him, you have access to His strength, His unlimited resources, His power, and His favor. Notice, everything points back to Him. So, you have to stay in fellowship with the Lord and communicate with Him often. Spend time in His Word. Seek His face, not just the blessings in His hand. When you are in constant fellowship with Jesus, you can hear and recognize His voice. And even if you really do feel like you’re not quite ready to proceed, you are in the correct posture to respond to Him, from a place of dependence on Him.
So, the next time you hear that small, still voice nudging you to move forward, just know, if you are connected to the Vine, you are well prepared for the journey ahead.
