In everything give thanks. This is a big one! We should acknowledge the goodness of God in our lives every day. An attitude of gratitude keeps you in position to receive blessings from the Lord. It also helps your perspective; there may be total chaos around you, but when you know that God is always moving on your behalf, you can thank Him in advance. You don’t have to wait to see the results; you can trust and believe that God will do what He said He would do. And you can simply thank Him for being God.
This is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. When you are focused on rejoicing, praying, and giving thanks, God can move in ways beyond what you can even imagine. He is God. He can do all things. We just have to learn to do our part, and that begins with acknowledging who He is and how He is. In doing so, we have access to Him as we pursue His will for us in Christ Jesus.
I know some of you still have questions about your personal spiritual journey. Well, guess what? That can be part of your conversation with the Lord today. (Then, wake up and do it again tomorrow!) And when you actively seek to live in the space of rejoicing, praying, and thanking, watch God actually direct your steps.
