After these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”
God is saying to Abram, “I am your exceedingly great reward.” Sisters, God Himself is our Reward! Don’t miss out on the Giver because you are so focused on the gifts and blessings from the Lord. God is the Reward. He is the Answer. He is our Shield. The real prize is that we have access to Him, and everything we need is in Him.
Matthew 6:33 reminds us to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and the things will be added. We can place our hope in God and be confident in knowing that He will provide everything we need because He is the Reward. Today, remember that you have access to the Reward. Don’t miss out on the blessings of today, searching for what you already have: God is your Reward!
