[Eve said,] “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’”
“You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.” (Genesis 3:3-5)
And we know how that turned out, right? That moment of temptation caused Adam and Eve to be banished from the Garden of Eden. Sisters, if you find yourself struggling to always be in control, repent and hand that control right over to God. He can handle it! He knows beyond what you and I can ever know. And He knows everything that is going on in your life right now. Just put your trust and your confidence in His ability to move on your behalf! He can handle it!! And when you hand it over (whatever “it” is) to God, He actually brings rest to your spirit. You don’t have to have it all figured out all the time. Hand that over to God, Sisters! You can rest because your Father will always take care of you!
