Some people think that the moment they accept Jesus Christ, their lives will be a bed of roses. But remember, roses have thorns! Sister, you are going to face many challenges during your life, but God also shares a few promises in this verse.
- I will be with You. God promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5) No matter what you are facing right now, please know that God is right there with you—no matter what!
- You will not drown. Have you ever felt buried by your situation, like you’re sinking in an insurmountable situation? Well, God said that you will not succumb to it. Put your trust in Him and allow Him to direct your path. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
- You will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. No matter what challenge you are experiencing, God said you will make it! The flames won’t consume you, and the fire can’t even take you out. The very next verse tells why no harm will come to you: For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. God is the answer to every challenge you will ever face, and there is nothing too hard for Him. You should declare that right now:
There is nothing too hard for God.
Sisters, be encouraged today! God is with you at this very moment. Open your heart to His spirit and your ears to His voice. He’s got this situation! Trust Him.
