Job provides us with another example of supernatural increase. The Lord allowed Job to suffer to simply prove that there are some people who will serve God no matter what. Job lost everything he had – possessions, livestock, children – but in Job 42:10, the Bible says that God provided him with twice as much as he had before. Think about God’s math! How can you lose everything and end up with twice as much as you had to start with?!
I’m amazed that God takes our little and produces supernatural increase. Does anyone need supernatural increase in your life right now?
Mark 11:22-24 encourages us to have faith in God and to simply believe. When we do so, God says we will have what we desire if we truly believe when we pray. (The key is to actually believe when you pray.) Take the Word right to your Heavenly Father and make sure that desire lines up with the Word of God. And don’t doubt what you prayed for, because when you doubt God, you introduce subtraction—you cancel out your prayer.
