You may need to roll up your sleeves to reap those results. Asking requires you to actually open your mouth. James 4:2 reminds us that there are times we go without simply because we don’t ask. Yes, God knows what we need before we even need it, but He’s looking for some daughters who will just be honest and authentic. He’s not looking for the holy persona who shows up on Sundays; He wants the real you, that Sister who’s down to her last nerve by Thursday. He wants to hear from her deepest wants and desires. So, open your mouth, Sisters, and be honest with God.
Seeking requires you to open your heart and to purposefully pursue God’s will. Sisters, it’s important to remain to open to God’s possibilities while you are pursuing His plan and purpose for you because “He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV) He may open brand new doors just for you. If you want to find something new, you have to actually look for it, with expectation, so that you’ll recognize the blessing when it comes your way.
