Jesus wants all of that, too! I need you to really get that in your spirit. He wants it all: the good, the bad, and the downright ugly. In Matthew 11:28 (NKJV), Jesus tells us to, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” And in I Peter 5:7, we are instructed to cast all of our cares upon Him, because He cares for us. The challenge for many of us to take it (whatever “it” is to you right now) to God and leave it there. We know how to go to God, but after praying about it, we pick it right back up and go on about our day.
Sisters, don’t do that this season. Give it all to God. He can handle it. And while you are presenting all of your gifts to Him, give Him all the other stuff, too. Then, you can experience the fullness of joy, because your heart will truly be in position to receive the peace of God and all of His blessings during this wonderful season.
