All Things New

I encourage you today, Sisters, to stop and smell the roses in your life.  If you are drinking a cup of coffee or tea, slow down and savor the aroma before you take a sip.  If you are eating a dish that you enjoy, take a moment to savor the flavor.  When you are out today, look at the sky and appreciate the shade of blue or the texture that clouds bring to the landscape.  How about you close your eyes while you are outside and just take in the breeze?  (Not while you are driving—while you are standing or sitting outside!)

What if we responded to the move of God with gratitude and excitement on a consistent basis—instead of taking blessings for granted as we expect God to move, we express appreciation to God in total excitement?  That is what “in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” looks like.  (1 Thessalonians 5:18 NKJV)  Bursting in excitement with gratitude!

God really is making all things new, so I encourage you to breathe in His Spirit so that you can be replenished in this season.  Ask God to give you a fresh perspective every single day.  And then, show the Lord how much you appreciate Him!

When was the last time you recognized the move of God in your life and responded in total awe of Him?
