How many of us have believed the lie that it’s simply too late to accomplish a goal because we’re so focused on what we used to have that we cannot see what we have right now? God said He will restore that which was lost. Don’t believe me? Let’s turn to the Word for a moment and check out Joel 2:25-26:
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,
The crawling locust,
The consuming locust,
And the chewing locust,
My great army which I sent among you.
You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
And praise the name of the Lord your God,
Who has dealt wondrously with you;
And My people shall never be put to shame. ”
God promised to restore the years, so we cannot use timing as an excuse anymore. Besides, God is not bound by our concept of time. He can move beyond our finite sense of timing to create opportunities just for us, even when it seems like it’s just too late. Remember, God’s hands are moving on your behalf! So, Sisters, I’m asking God to renew each one of us today.
