Lessons from the Fall

  • Sahara stood patiently and waited for me to get back on her.  And my ride was not adversely affected in any way.  Sisters, if you experience a setback, get back up again!  That blessing is still waiting for you to arrive.
  • My will was involved.  I could have very well said, “Okay, that’s enough, let’s head back.”  But if I would have turned back, I would have missed out on all of the beautiful things that God allowed me to see on the ride, including a beautiful deer that walked right by us.  I would have missed that cool breeze, the lovely flowers, and walking through a stream.
  • God was right there, too, watching over me the whole time.  And even in the midst of the fall, everything in the woods was peaceful.  I experienced the peace of God the entire time, including during the fall because He was right there beside me!  Sisters, God is always there.  He will never leave you!

Sisters, that was by far my best ride!  I’m so grateful that God allowed me to experience all of it!  So now, I want to encourage you to step out of your comfort zone.  Get away from the usual, and do something that brings life to your spirit.  And if you fall, just get back up again!
