Does Jesus Really Understand?

But with Jesus, you can share absolutely everything!  (He knows it anyway, so you might as well talk to Him.)  He can then direct you to others who can support you on the particular path on which you are traveling.

Jesus can fully empathize with where you are.  He can feel that moment when you feel so weak.  He, too, was exhausted.  He was hungry.  He was disappointed.  And He even became furious.  He felt all of the emotions you feel, but He didn’t sin as a result of them.  Now, having said that, don’t allow the enemy to beat you down for any times you have fallen short and have sinned.  Take it right to Jesus and ask for forgiveness—and the strength to choose to do better.  You don’t have to be perfect because the God you serve is perfect.  You need only to be willing to obey Him and have faith.  When you couple obedience with faith, miracles can happen in your life.

Right now, I encourage you to confess every area in which you have fallen short to Jesus.  He is not waiting there to berate you or to even judge you.  He is waiting to restore you and shower His love upon you.  Are you willing to receive that love today?

Jesus really does know where you are and how you feel right now.  He cares so deeply about you and everything that concerns you.  Take all of your concerns to Him and receive His love today.  He knows, Sisters.  He understands all of the emotions that you are feeling.  He can feel them, too.  And He is right there with you at this very moment!

So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.  This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin.  So, let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God.  There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.  (Hebrews 4:14-16 NLT)
