It’s actually a very familiar passage of Scripture, so we may recite it without really allowing the full revelation of what the Father is saying. There is so much in this text that I could do a whole series. But this morning, He told me to take another look at verse 7.
And He led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city for a dwelling place.
Sisters, there is a right way to do everything that you have purposed in your heart to do. That made me think, “That means the opposite is true. There is also a wrong way.” That’s why it is important to allow God to order your steps—and follow His lead. Sometimes we have great ideas with the wrong motives or the right motives without an actual plan to implement the ideas. Other times, we want the results without the work. Or maybe we have a great idea, but that simply isn’t what God wants us to do. For example, David wanted to build God a temple, and he wanted to do it in total sincerity. But that is not what God wanted him to do. It was noble; but it wasn’t for him to do. (Later his son, Solomon, built the temple.)
In this season, you have to work the plan that God gave you. (The one He gave you, not the one that others have given you or assigned to you.) Ask God to reveal the right way to reap manifestation. He has strategies beyond what you could ever imagine. Listen intently to the Holy Spirit as He whispers in your ear and guides your actual steps. He wants to lead you like that! Then, your obedience, faith, and your willingness to boldly walk into His promises will allow you to produce fruit that will remain.
