This morning, I read Isaiah 49:16 (NKJV) and it really hit me differently. I’ve been reading it over and over again, and each time I read it, I feel like the Holy Spirit is giving me a hug.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
I’ve been sitting here visualizing me in the palm of my Father’s hands. Sisters, we are inscribed on the palms of His hands. Think about that! There is never a moment that your life is not in God’s hands. You can rest today because you are in your Father’s hands—everything that concerns you is in His hands. You don’t have to have all of the answers; you are in His hands. You may not see your way out, but you are in His hands. Allow yourself to rest in His hands today, Sisters.
I needed that reminder today, that not only does God have control over the circumstances in my life, but that He actually has me in His hands, my very name inscribed on His palms. He is holding me, encouraging me, shaping me, comforting me, elevating me, and keeping me—all while holding me in the palms of His hands. That amazes me right now, and I am incredibly humbled by just how much God cares about me.
Sisters, you are in good hands today! He’s got you. He always has, and He always will. He really does care about you! Take some time to appreciate just how much your Father really does love you!
