Sisters, your help comes from the Lord, so call on Him whenever you need Him. He’s right there. The same God who created the heavens and the earth created you. He knows everything there is to know about you, and He loves you so deeply. When He plants you, nothing can move you. Not a virus, not hatred, not other people or circumstances, nothing! Verse four reminds us that He is our Keeper. I really want you to think about that. In times of desperation (or exasperation), God is not just a Keeper; He is your Keeper. He’s keeping your mind, your spirit, and your sanity, all while guarding your heart. And He promised to keep you in perfect peace when you keep your mind on Him (Isaiah 26:3). God even keeps you when you don’t want to be kept. (Thank God for His grace and mercy!)
Sisters, remember that the Lord is not slack concerning His promises to us, and He never takes a break from caring for us. Never! His protection is ever-present. I want you to take some time to really feel the Presence of God around you. Take a moment to look at the clouds in the sky. Feel the sunshine on your face and then step into the coolness of the shade. Take a deep breath in the morning breeze. Listen to the birds sing. Watch the leaves blow in the wind. God is right there in the midst of all of it.
He’s left nothing to chance concerning you. He is protecting you from the evil in the world around us. His angels are watching you day and night. His hand is always near, and He promises to watch over us as we go out and come in. Don’t despair, Sisters, He’s right there with you in the midst of every storm and test. You are not alone. Your help is right there, coming from the Most High God.
