It’s Not Too Late

While He was still speaking to her, a messenger arrived from the home of Jairus, the leader of the synagogue.  He told him, “Your daughter is dead.  There’s no use troubling the Teacher now.”  But when Jesus heard what had happened, He said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid.  Just have faith, and she will be healed.”  (Luke 8:49-50)

During that miraculous moment when the woman was healed, a messenger came to report that Jairus’s daughter had died.  Have you ever experienced a tragedy in your life while those around you were experiencing incredible blessings from God?  It’s not easy to get through those moments, when your heart is in turmoil while those around you are celebrating.  But, Sisters, God is still in control, and He is still moving on your behalf—even when you don’t “feel” Him moving.

Jesus knew how things may have looked to Jairus.  Jesus, if only You had moved faster.  And He knows how things may look right now to you.  It’s not too late.  Jesus spoke to Jairus’s daughter, and life returned into her body.  He can speak to your circumstance and change it just like that.  He can speak over that dream He gave you, the one that you let go of because you thought you somehow missed the opportunity, and make it thrive all over again.  Our God is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 NLT).  Do you really believe that?  Today, I dare you to trust God at His word and watch Him show out on your behalf.  Sisters, it’s not too late!
