Sisters, the enemy will tell us all kinds of things to deceive us and to make us feel shame, discouragement, defeat, and fear. But we don’t have to allow him any room. Don’t give him any space in your heart, your mind, your spirit, your home, or your relationships. Don’t even entertain him for one moment.
When you have a negative thought, ask yourself, “Who told me that?” Does it line up with the Word of God? If not, release it immediately. If you are thinking that you are all alone while you are quarantined, who told you that? The Lord said He’d never leave you (Hebrews 13:5). If you have been struggling and it seems like you can’t make it, who told you that? My Bible says that you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength (Philippians 4:13). If you’re not sure if God’s word to you is going to manifest, who told you that? God promised that His word always produces fruit and accomplishes all that He wants to accomplish, and it will prosper everywhere He sends it (Isaiah 55:11).
You belong to God. So, fill your thoughts with the goodness (and the Word) of the Lord. And walk in total confidence as you listen to (and believe) what God says concerning you!
