I want you to speak words of life to combat all the negativity that is constantly bombarding you. It’s necessary for your well-being—your mind, body, and spirit.
You see, when we’re not careful, we may allow ourselves to be led by the enemy, and he can be quite cunning. He’ll have you questioning what you know is right and cause you to falter. Remember how he convinced Eve to eat the forbidden fruit? In that moment, Eve lost sight of all that she had and focused on the one thing, the only thing, that was forbidden. (That is a lesson in of itself!) And after she and Adam ate the fruit, their eyes were opened and they felt ashamed of their nakedness.
Then, when they heard the Lord coming, Adam and Eve ran and hid (just like we do). After asking Adam where he was, God asked him, “Who told you that you were naked?” (Genesis 3:1-11) Who told you that?
