Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. (Psalm 139:7-10 NKJV)
It doesn’t matter how many skeletons are in your spiritual closet; God still loves you. Clear out that closet and lay those skeletons at His feet. We have all fallen short; we’ve all messed up, so don’t allow the enemy to tell you that because you made some mistakes, God doesn’t love you anymore. That is a lie!
And God is not waiting to beat you over the head, bringing up every bad thing you’ve ever done. While the enemy is sitting by accusing you all day long, Jesus Christ is offering you forgiveness. He’s loves you that much. People may remind you of your past mistakes, but God will take those same mistakes to develop you and use your experience to bless someone else.
There is a purpose to everything that you have ever experienced—even those really awful things that you have gone through. You may not understand why things have happened the way they have, but know that God loves you. I really need for you to understand that today. God loves YOU! Your Heavenly Father delights in you, and He is offering Himself to you. Sisters, He loves you so much more than you could ever imagine!
He gives His love to you unconditionally. You don’t have to try to earn His love. There is nothing you can do to prove that you are worthy of His love anyway. You are worthy because He said so. He gave His love to us freely! John 3:16 reminds us of that. Sisters, receive His love today. Bask in it!
