You don’t have to accept misery as your normal. That, too, is a lie from the enemy. “It won’t get any better. You might as well get used to it being like this.” He is a liar! Don’t you even entertain those thoughts!
When he comes to you with those lies, simply respond with what God says:
Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
“My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:14)
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
Sisters, God is with you right now—at this very moment! Your life matters to Him. You matter to Him. Cry out to Him if you need to; He’s right there. Ask Him for direction; He’ll make it plain. Invite Him to accompany you throughout the day, and welcome His Presence.
He promised to never leave you. He has never left you, and He never, ever will.
