Not Another Word

There’s also a warning to remind us to use our words carefully:

“But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Matthew 12:36-17)

That verse makes me repent whenever I read it! By our own words we’ll be condemned? Lord, help me right now!

James 3:10 reminds us to be careful because if we are not, “Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.”

We have to watch our words, Sisters. God will fight those battles for you when you yield to Him. Trust Him. And when you hear the Holy Spirit say, “Not another word,” take it from me, please just stop talking. Allow Him to fight that battle for you.
