And look at verse 17. Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan.
The priests stepped out and stood firm. And if you look closely, you’ll notice that they are now on dry ground. (Dry ground in the midst of the Jordan.) God will change the environment just because you are in it. Stand firm on the Word of God and His promises. And watch how God responds. The ground stayed dry and the river stood at attention until all the people had crossed it. I wonder if we’d be more likely to step out if we realized that we carry the anointing that leads to deliverance for all of the people around us. They are waiting for us to step out. Go ahead, get your feet wet!
