When storms hit, speak the Word. Don’t say, “Lord, I know you can do it, but I don’t know how You can.” Instead speak: all things are possible to him who believes. (Mark 9:23) Speak the Word only.
When the bills are piling up, don’t throw in the towel. Don’t speak words of poverty over your life. If you are the type who says, “I’m broke,” remove those words from your mouth today. Instead speak: My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. (Philippians 4:19)
When the challenge seems too big, don’t say, “I can’t do it.” Say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
When you are trying to step out into the unknown, “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
When the enemy tells you that your dreams won’t come true, but my God is able to do exceedingly above all I ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20)
When sickness comes, by His stripes I am healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
Don’t let fear, doubt, or even anger contaminate your words. Life and death are in your mouth right now. Speak and believe the Word of God.
Speak the Word only. That’s what the officer said. Speak the Word only. That’s all he needed. When a situation comes up, put the Word on it. Learn how to stand on the Word of God. God spoke and things happened. You have that same authority in your mouth. Use your words carefully. Speak the Word only…and believe it!
