And Jesus goes on to say, “And I tell you this, that many Gentiles will come from all over the world—from east and west—and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven. But many Israelites—those for whom the Kingdom was prepared—will be thrown into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
The Kingdom will be full of folks who don’t necessarily look like we think they should look. Jesus says many Gentiles will feast in the Kingdom of Heaven, but many Israelites, God’s chosen people, won’t make it in. That’s deep. Jesus was moved by this man’s faith, not by how many commandments he was following or how many letters were behind his name. And because of his faith, the servant was healed that same hour.
Can you just take God at his Word? We have to know the Word for ourselves. You may not be able to get your pastor on the phone or even make it to the altar call. But can you just take God at His Word?
This man’s faith brought about his servant’s healing. Did you hear me? His faith affected someone else’s healing. And you carry that power too. We have to learn how to use our authority in Christ Jesus. Your faith can bring about change in your home, your church, your entire community. You carry that kind of power. The thing is, the enemy tries to trick us and make us think we are insignificant in the grand scheme. But he is a liar. The power is not in your power, it is by the Spirit of God. Zechariah 4:6 says, Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.” Take the Lord at His Word. And speak the Word of God over your circumstances.
The Holy Spirit spoke to me recently and said, “Speak the Word only.” What if we simply spoke the Word only? Not words of doubt or fear, but the Word of God.
