Although our God is Almighty and All-powerful, He takes care of our individual needs. He even knows the number of hairs on our heads. I mean, think about that for a moment. There is nothing that God has left to chance concerning you and your life.
And nothing can compare to God. We try to describe Him with our limited knowledge and the most eloquent words from Webster’s dictionary, but they don’t even come close. We cannot compare God to anything else in existence. We can’t wrap our heads around His greatness.
God never gets tired. That alone amazes me because I know I keep Him busy! He’s never too busy to help us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He alone is our Source, and His joy is our strength.
Isaiah 40 also gives us the answers to fundamental questions that children and even many new Christians have about God. Have you ever had someone ask you, “Where did God come from? When was He born? Who created Him?”
